Project Title: SOAPBOX-Telephone surveillance

Project Description: This is health facility based and community linked telephone patient surveillance of hospital acquired infection that will be implemented in Amana and Temeke referral hospital in Dar es Salaam. The two months enrolments and one month follow up later study between March and May 2019. IHI has recruited six nurses that will serve to identify these women after delivery in the two hospitals hence be followed up on them by telephone at home. Mother Child... Mother Child pair will be asked about their status since they left hospitals and see if they have encountered anything since then. This study will also investigate the quality of water that is used to clean wards in hospitals as part of a sister arm to CLEAN study that is being implemented in both hospitals since last year
